  • CO-OPerating with universities - TRIUMF is an active partner with undergraduate co-operative education programs nationwide. On average, 70 undergraduate and building trades students are hired each year on four-month work terms. To many, the experience gained has a pivotal role influencing a career choice in a similar occupation.

  • Attracting top undergraduates - TRIUMF offers five Summer Research Awards every year to bring one student from each of the five regions of Canada (Atlantic Provinces, Quebec, Ontario, Prairie Provinces, British Columbia) to TRIUMF.

  • Challenging eager students - The TRIUMF Summer Institute is aimed at graduate and advanced undergraduate students. For the past 20 years, it has brought to TRIUMF outstanding prospective scientists from around the world. They attend a two-week-long series of lectures and seminars on topics of current research interests.

  • Hosting global scientists - Every year, TRIUMF hosts several conferences that attract top scientists from around the world. TRIUMF showcases the excellence of Canadian science.

  • Mentoring tomorrow's scientists - TRIUMF offers an environment in which graduate students can develop their skills.
