2013-12-16: Last week of operation in 2013 16 December 2013

This is the final week of accelerator operation and beam delivery in Schedule 125. The cyclotron is delivering 9.8 µA to BL2A and nA to BL2C1 as needed. RIB production and PIF (on both BL1B and 2C1) will continue until Saturday morning.

Beam delivery update 15 October 2014

The cyclotron is now running pretty much normally, delivering ~110 µA to BL1A and 50 µA to BL2A. The STF group hasn’t yet decided if they’re going to request beam overnight or if BL2C will stay off until tomorrow's switchover to 2C1.

Current conditions: 115 µA to BL1A, 25 µA to BL2A2, and ~75 µA to BL2C4, with ISAC target startup underway…

Beam delivery update 08 October 2013

The cyclotron is currently delivering ~115 µA to BL1A and ~95 µA to BL2C4.  BL2A is off due to the apparent failure of a paddlewheel-type water flowmeter in the ISAC west target station and will remain off until the meter can be replaced.

The cyclotron is running normally, delivering ~110 µA to BL1A, 50 µA to BL2A, and ~95 µA to BL2C4. Operation is scheduled to continue like this through the weekend.

Beam delivery update 03 December 2013

Beam was injected around 17:30 this afternoon and the cyclotron is currently delivering ~95 µA to BL1A. Delivery to BL1A and to PIF on BL2C1 (on an as-needed basis) is scheduled to continue until Saturday morning.
