Awards & Honours Akira Konaka awarded 2016 CAP-TRIUMF Vogt Medal 21 April 2016 The 2016 CAP-TRIUMF Vogt Medal for Contributions to Subatomic Physics is awarded to Dr. Akira Konaka, TRIUMF Research Scientist, for his outstanding contributions to the T2K long-baseline neutrino experiment, including his leadership in establishing the collaboration.

Current Events An Open Letter to the Broader TRIUMF Community 21 January 2008 Since the 1990s, TRIUMF has secured its operating funds through a 5-year contribution agreement with National Research Council Canada. The present cycle ends in 2010 and efforts to develop the plan for the 2010-2015 are well underway.
From the Director An Update on TRIUMF Incorporation 12 March 2021 TRIUMF is entering the final stages of its effort to move from a joint venture to an incorporated non-profit with charitable status. On March 5, 2021, the TRIUMF Board of Management confirmed its intention that this process should be completed by June 1, 2021.
