Key Performance Indicators: Help Desk Tickets

The Information Systems & Technology Department has the responsibility to provide computing resources to the TRIUMF community.  This includes the Enterprise Resource Planning tools (Agresso and in-house developed systems for HR, Work Order, and other applications), office productivity solutions such as email, calendar, resource booking and shared file systems.  Under-pinning those services is an extensive infrastructure of networks, servers, storage and backup processes.

I.T. is an ever-changing environment and staying current with emerging technology trends is also the responsibility of the IST Department.  By implementing industry "best practices" using a formalized approach we can continually improve computing facilities while managing overall system costs.

The current priorities and planned activities of the IST Department are described in regular reports provided to senior management.  The latest report was issued in the middle of 2018.
