I will overview the main accelerator activities at Jefferson Lab: CEBAF operations at 12 GeV, Accelerator R&D and the plan for the realization of an Electron-Ion Collider. I will focus on the challenges of maintaining balance among different and competing programs and priorities, and on the strategy to remain competitive at a national and international level.
