TRIUMF offers a variety of education and outreach programs for students and teachers.  The objectives of the programs are to:

  • Share the excitement of the scientific adventure via programs at various levels of engagement;
  • Inspire young people to learn more about particle & nuclear physics;
  • Showcase TRIUMF’s research activities as a resource for real-world lessons in the value of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education; and
  • Illustrate the value and long-term impact of curiosity-driven research.

 

 

Physics in Action Video Series

The Physics In Action lesson series teaches high-school students about the physical sciences and shows them that physics, in addition to being fun and exciting, can lead to rewarding careers in Canada’s emerging knowledge-based economy.
