In support of our commitment to addressing Truth and Reconciliation, the EDIC has organized a workshop Transformative Change in research Relationships: Addressing Calls to Action. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, January 16th, 12:00 - 1:30pm in the TRIUMF's Auditorium. Everyone is welcome to join.

A significant gender gap has persisted throughout the years at all levels of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines all over the world. Even though women have made tremendous progress towards increasing their participation in higher education, they are still under-represented in these fields.

February 28th, 2024
On February 28, 2024, we encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. Bullying is a major problem in our schools, workplaces, homes, and online. Pink Shirt Day aims to raise awareness of these issues, as well as raise funds to support programs that foster children’s healthy self-esteem.

TRIUMF's EDI calendar is one of the laboratory's committed steps towards creating diverse, equitable and inclusive work enviroments where all employees and visitors are valued and feel like they belong. It is meant to capture, recognize, and communicate national and international days of significance, cultural celebrations, awareness days and months, and many more, with the intent to keep track of days that have special meaning for the TRIUMF community.
